Call for donation

Dear friends

After the terrible events that struck Nepal, Samdo Avenir’s team has decided to make a call for donations by soliciting your generosity.

The images shown here are from the Kathmandu and Everest regions, however according to Catherine, the founder of the NGO, the situation is far more severe. Countless villages close to the epicenter of the first earthquake (M7.8) , between Kathmandu and Pokhara, have been partially or completely wiped out.

The Nubri valley which leads to the village of Samdo in the Manaslu region was particularly affected

The second quake ( M7.3) has amplified the destruction of the villages that were weakened by the first shake. The epicenter of this second earthquake was close to the Everest region.

It is why we wish to set up actions to support and help the most deprived families whose villages are in the Nubri valley as well as to help the villages of the guides and porters of Glacier Safari Treks, the trekking agency directed by Catherine and Dhruba K.C
